After my favorite local soy candle company closed in 2019, I had trouble finding good quality candles that smelled amazing. Since I figured I had candle-making in my blood from my grandfather who made candles, I decided to give it a try. I knew I would be able to control the quality I was looking for. After months of trials and testing, my family and friends kept asking for more free samples ~ I knew I was on to something, and the candle-making part of LoriK Creations began.
In September 2023 we opened LK Home & Gifts in West Boylston where our candles are now exclusively sold. It has been my dream since a young kid to own my own store. As a kid I wanted it to be a pet supply store/cafe but as I got older it shifted to a gift store. As my candle following grew but locations to sell declined, I decided to take a big leap and make my dream become a reality.
If you notice I say "we" a lot in my wording, I say that because I have a 16 year old daughter that has been tremendously helpful and supportive in this whole process. Without her support I am not sure I would have taken the leap.

Our candles and wax melts are hand poured in small batches to maintain the quality that our customers expect. We use exclusively soy wax, which is a natural ingredient that comes from the soybean. The wax we purchase helps support our Mid-West farmers. These candles are made with the highest quality products to have the cleanest burn and the best scent.
Right now we are collaborating with the Rise Above Foundation to raise money for Massachusetts children in the foster care system, helping them gain access to enriching activities and experiences.
